How To Find Us

To avoid the city centre traffic please stay on the A64 until reach the Scarborough roundabout. If you turn off left here, signed Monks Cross (A1036), it will lead you straight into York and Monkgate.

As you approach the road about at the bottom of the A1036 you will see the public house Brigadier Gerard on the left hand side, we are opposite on the right. Parking is a little driveway to the side, please negotiate with care.

Directions from North

As you approach York from the north you arrive on either the A19 or A59.

Stay on the inner ring road heading for York City centre bringing you into Bootham. At Bootham Bar turn left onto Gillygate and right at the traffic lights onto Lord Mayors Walk. Stay in the left hand lane and at the next traffic lights turn left onto Monkgate. Monkgate Guest House is almost on the roundabout on your left hand side opposite the Brigadier Gerrard Public House
