We provide as many ‘creature’ comforts as possible to make it easier to bring your children on a visit to York. Our family room is on the ground floor and consists of two rooms. The first room has a double bed and then you walk through to a smaller room with twin beds leading to the en-suite shower room with toilet and washbasin.
We have tried our best to equip the room with child friendly facilities i.e. small toilet seat, box to reach the loo and washbasin and lower coat hooks and we can provide a travel cot, although we ask you to bring your own cot bedding if possible. We have provided a TV with DVD player for your children to bring their favourite DVD’s and a CD player plus a few family games along with a little table and chairs.
In your room is a folder proving information about child friendly restaurants and shops you may like to visit. We also list all the attractions and facilities in and around York we think may suit the various ages of your children i.e. swimming, go carting, ten pin bowling and cinemas. Doctor, hospital and chemist telephone numbers are also listed.
We provide a children’s menu but if there is anything your child desperately wants for breakfast please do not hesitate to ask on arrival.
